iLoveTest is a free online practice test platform. We build focused quiz experiences around popular exams and knowledge areas — from academic standardised tests like the SAT and GRE, to civic knowledge tests like the US Citizenship exam and DMV Driving Theory, to professional and specialist topics like SEO, Accounting, and Badminton rules.
Every test on iLoveTest is free to use, requires no account, and stores your progress automatically in your own browser. We believe that access to quality practice material should not require a subscription or a credit card.
Our mission: Help people prepare for what matters to them, with no paywalls, no dark patterns, and no fluff.
Each iLoveTest quiz draws from a curated pool of questions written and reviewed against official exam guidelines and authoritative sources. When you start a session, 20 questions are selected at random, so every attempt feels fresh and covers different material.
After each answer you receive immediate feedback: whether you were right or wrong, what the correct answer is, and a full explanation of why. This is the spaced-repetition advantage — seeing the reasoning immediately after an error reinforces learning far more effectively than just reviewing answers at the end.
At the end of a session you get a score, a breakdown by topic, and the option to retry. Your best score for each test is saved locally so you can track improvement over time.
We write questions that reflect real exam conditions as closely as possible. For regulated exams like the USCIS Civics Test, we use the official question bank verbatim. For broader academic exams like the SAT and GRE, we author original questions aligned to the official College Board and ETS blueprints. For professional topics, we draw on publicly available guidelines, standards documents, and industry resources.
Every question on the platform includes a plain-English explanation written to help you understand the concept — not just memorise an answer. We believe if you understand the why, you can handle variations you have never seen before.
Research in cognitive science consistently shows that retrieval practice — the act of actively recalling information — is one of the most effective ways to consolidate learning. Simply re-reading notes is passive and leads to an illusion of fluency. Answering questions forces your brain to reconstruct knowledge, strengthening neural pathways in ways that passive review cannot.
This is why iLoveTest exists: to give you the retrieval practice loop that actually moves the needle on exam performance.
Yes. All tests are completely free. We are supported by non-intrusive advertisements shown alongside content. We will never charge for access to practice questions.
No account is required. Your progress — best scores, number of attempts, last completed date — is stored in your browser's localStorage. It persists across visits but stays private on your device.
Each session randomly draws 20 questions from the full pool for that test. This means repeat attempts expose you to different questions, improving coverage of the full material over time.
Yes. Each test has a "Practice All" mode that cycles through every question in the pool without the 20-question session cap. This is useful when you want comprehensive coverage in one sitting.
The IQ test on iLoveTest provides an estimate based on performance across cognitive question types. It is intended for educational and entertainment purposes only, not as a clinical assessment. Professionally validated IQ tests should be administered by a qualified psychologist.
